Changes in Management: New Personnel in the Management at Thermamax.

In order to optimize the demands of a growing organization, Thermamax has made changes in the leadership of the company at the management level. Thorsten Thom is appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The management team will also include Dirk Nunn as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Uwe Gerber, who will take over the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Thorsten Thom (48), born in Düsseldorf, will take over the leadership of Thermamax (CEO) on 1st Jan. 2019. He succeeds Ralf Grosshauser who has led the company over the last two and a half years and who has vigorously driven forward the growth policy.
He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and was active over the last 12 years with WEGMANN Group, spending the last 9 years as CEO responsible for the whole Automotive group.  Before that he had wide-ranging leadership roles, both at home and internationally, with Saint-Gobain Glass and ThyssenKrupp. 

With effect from 1.10.2018 Uwe Gerber (53) is appointed as COO. He studied Industrial Engineering and had nearly 20 years at MAHLE with responsibility in various positions, both in Germany and overseas. More recently he was with MAHLE Industry as COO responsible for all plants worldwide.
With the newly created position of COO, Thermamax is putting the focus on optimizing targets, structures and processes in order to effectively coordinate the demands of growth.

From 19.11.2018 Dirk Nunn (45) will take up the position of CFO. Dirk Nunn, born in Würzburg, studied Business Management and has more than 18 years experience in Finance. He has acquired this in different fields and ownership structures with companies including KPMG, LEONI, STAEDTLER and VALEO.
