We care about the new generation. That’s why we again supported the two racing teams Uni Stuttgart and KA-RaceIng (from KIT in Karlsruhe) in 2019. We provided insulation solutions for exhaust manifolds and turbochargers for the vehicles in the combustion engine category. The team from Karlsruhe visited us in the spring of 2019 to find out more about our production.

For the entire season, we supported the two teams Uni Stuttgart and KA-RaceIng with insulation solutions for their combustion engines. It was finally time in summer: For the fourteenth time, Formula Student Germany took place at Hockenheim from August 5 to 11, 2019. 119 teams in the categories Combustion, Electric and Driveless competed to achieve the fastest times with their own race cars. Among others, the Uni Stuttgart team won first place in the Autocross discipline and second place in Engineering Design in the Combustion category. KA-RaceIng took second place twice, in the categories Driveless and Electric.

The best engineers of the future learn early. That’s why we cultivate the transfer of knowledge with our protégés. Thirteen students from the KA-RaceIng team visited us in Mannheim in the spring. In presentations, guests learned more about our history, markets and products. They got a closer look at the Toolmaking, Production and R&D departments during tours. We are pleased about this active interest and wish the young generation all the best for 2020.
