Warehouse Supervisor

Thermamax is a specialist and technology leader in the design and manufacture of thermal and acoustic insulation solutions for engine rooms and exhaust after-treatment systems for diesel engines, spark ignition engines, and electric propulsion systems. Thermamax serves markets such as marine, agriculture, power generation, off- and on-highway. Thermamax, Inc. manufactures high temperature insulation at the facility in Aurora, Illinois.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all warehouse, receiving and shipping processes
  • Supervise the warehouse team
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy
  • Data entry of receiving and shipping details
  • Customer and vendor returns and service exchanges
  • Continuous improvement of existing and new processes
  • Meet KPIs in terms of on-time shipments
  • Compiling shipping documentation needed for freight forwarders and for customer
  • Coordinate outbound shipments
  • Works with purchasing team to notify sales/production department of back-orders and shipment delays.
  • Revises schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, sales, production, or engineering.


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in warehouse management
  • Previous experience in managing people
  • Profound understanding of inventory principles and processes
  • Familiar with standard shipping processes
  • High level of accuracy and self-dependence
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple complex tasks under close timelines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel skills) and Outlook.
  • Computer proficient. ERP Software Systems preferred
  • Dependability, readiness to take on responsibility, commitment, willingness to learn, goal- and results-oriented, ability to communicate, ability to work in a team.
